Erika Aarun is a distinguished legal strategist with a proven commitment to minimizing risk while delivering pragmatic legal solutions aligned with clients' strategic objectives. She is deeply passionate about and dedicated to supporting the growth and evolving needs of international business immigration, turning aspirations into tangible opportunities that unlock the potential of individuals and enterprises across the globe.
Originally from Mexico City, Erika has served for over 15 years as General Counsel for regulated and publicly traded multinational corporations across a range of industries, including mining, manufacturing, logistics, real estate development, construction, and railroad transportation.
She brings extensive experience in both business and family immigration matters. Her expertise includes temporary non-immigrant employment visas, investment-based immigration, international business expansion, permanent employment visas, and adjustment of status in family-based immigration cases.
Beyond immigration law, Erika offers comprehensive support in business law as it relates to immigration. Her services include the formation of business entities, drafting and reviewing operating agreements and contracts, and providing strategic legal advice to help clients meet their business objectives.
Erika earned her law degree from the Iberoamerican University School of Law in Mexico City, where she received special recognition for her thesis on the legal framework surrounding the bankruptcy of a public service company, a case of national relevance in Mexico.
Following her legal studies, Erika pursued an MBA at the prestigious Instituto de Empresa Business School in Madrid, Spain. She later obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas, graduating cum laude.
